To program online or not…?


Online programming has really become commonplace since this whole “CrossFit thing” caught on; the pros and cons are myriad and it is a debate that I have with myself quite often. On one hand it is nice for people to be able to just grab a WOD and go on the other is the underlying problem with online programming for the masses, its really just “ok” and people tend to plateau once the novice effect wears off or burn themselves, unchecked, into adrenal fatigue. Recently I have been thinking about providing a daily WOD again, but as a 12 week template of set movements a la Coach Rut. A medley of linear progression and periodization aimed at appearing random yet structured.

So I will put the questions out there, what do YOU want? Online programming that shifts seasonally or downloadable templates structured toward a broad but individual goal?
